The re-elected president, Luciano Bandeira, leads the slate that includes Tórtima, a partner at Bidino & Tórtima Advogados, as an alternate Federal Counselor.
The elected board also includes Ana Tereza Basílio as vice president, Álvaro Quintão as secretary-general, Marcello Oliveira as treasurer, and Mônica Alexandre as deputy secretary. For the Federal Council, Paulo César Salomão Filho, Juliana Bumachar, and Marcelo Fontes were elected, along with the other alternates, Maria Cristina Faria Alves and Eurico de Jesus Teles Neto.
According to Bandeira, “the result reflects the success of the work of a whole group that has forever changed the history of OAB-RJ. It was the most challenging triennium of all time, due to the pandemic, and it required the utmost effort from all of us.”
The Caixa de Assistência da Advocacia do Estado do Rio de Janeiro (CAARJ) will be led by Ricardo Menezes as president and Marisa Gaudio as vice president. The new secretary-general will be Mauro Pereira dos Santos, with Julia Vera as deputy secretary and Fred Mendes as treasurer.
